RuudAwakening was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and moved to Broward County, FL at the age of 7. He left his seperated parents behind to live with different uncles and aunts and likes to joke that he had 7 mothers to describe his chilhood experience. With a longing to find where he truly belonged he came across the song "The Moment of Truth" by Gang Starr and his life has never been the same.
